Dr. Anderson’s journey began at Mount Saint Vincent University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons). He then completed his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Dalhousie University. He is now in the process of becoming a candidate registered psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.

During his training, Dr. Anderson gained experience working in both community and hospital settings, where he honed his skills in providing evidence-based treatments.

While he is trained to work with clients who have a range of problems, he specializes in helping those with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, phobias, and substance use disorders.

Dr. Anderson’s primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but he also incorporates elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when appropriate. Jaime Stanley (she/her) is a registered Occupational Therapist and a certified member of Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT) and the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT). Jaime has fifteen years’ experience working in mental health care and ten years offering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in a variety of clinical and research settings.

Jaime earned a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Queen’s University. She completed post-graduate studies in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the McGill University Health Centre.

Jaime has extensive experience treating adults, youth and children with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD and psychosis. She also has experience working with parents of children with anxiety. Her main treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Jaime recognizes that social injustices can create and exacerbate mental health challenges. She strives to be informed, sensitive and responsive to factors affecting people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and marginalized communities.

Jaime’s empathy and humour put people at ease. She works with clients to help them understand the cycles of thoughts and behaviours that keep them stuck. She creates a space for clients to be curious and explore new ways of relating to themselves and the world ultimately working toward greater self-knowledge, life satisfaction, and an enhanced sense of wellbeing.
